this week in three good things

Good thing number one: time spent catching up with friends, including a special treat of dinner with a friend who moved away because connection feeds the soul.

Good thing number two: a really good (now) dogeared book and an opportunity to devour it in one day because how can this not be a good thing.

Good thing number three: creating meals + trying new recipes that embody fall and not only look yummy but also taste that way because the act of cooking has become something I enjoy and a meditative treat to allow me to let go of the day and focus on the moment. Bonus points because I get to share the meal with my favorite human.
